The Contracts is a short film by Nick Lavigne & Alex Frank. Production started during the ending of September, and finished in October. The film would have been a complete failure if it weren’t for the friendly staff at the Chang's Garden Restaurant in Storrs Connecticut. The Mpeg 4 video is a different version of the film that was edited together a couple months later. It was edited for pace and to keep the feel of the film consistent. The Slow-motion bullet is from the John Woo film "Face/Off". However; Nick Lavigne created the two muzzle flashes with a Glock 17 and VX2000 set at 1/600sec shutter speed. The movie was filmed using a Sony VX2000. The film was edited on Apple's Final Cut pro 4. Other effects were made possible by using Particle Illusions, Flash and Live Type.
